Whistler Blackcomb

Hi guys! Today, I am going to talk about my trip to Whistler. We went to ski there, and I did a post about my experience skiing (if you want to know more, click here). Whistler is known not only for the sports that you can do there, but also about how beautiful it is. The Whistler resort area, north of Vancouver in British Columbia, exists because of skiing. With more than 8,000 acres over 2 mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb, it’s the largest skiable area in North America. Continue reading

Baked eggs in a turkey breast basket

Good morning people, how are you?

Today, I am bringing to you, the first recipe of the year. I call it  as “Baked eggs in a turkey breast basket”. One day, I saw a video on facebook that showed a recipe like this one but used bread and bacon instead, so I have changed the recipe around a bit and the result you can find out below.

  • 6 eggs*
  • 6 slices of turkey breast*
  • 6 or 12 slices of Genoa salame* (optional, I added this because my husband likes meat)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper (optional)
  • Cooking Oil Spray to grease the pan

*This recipe makes 6 portions.

Pré aqueça o forno a 355ºF ou 180ºC.

Grease a cupcake pan with the cooking oil spray (mine has 6 spots for cupcakes). Cover each spot using the slices of turkey breast (you fold each slice like in a basket). If you wish you can put the salame slices on top of the turkey breast slices. Crack each egg into the basket of turkey breast slices and season it with salt and black pepper. Bake it up for about 12 minutes or until the eggs are the way that you like to eat them. That’s it,  done! :)

Hi guys! Today, I would like to talk about my experience in Skiing. I have been living in Canada for more than one year now and this past year I tried Snowboarding. It was very difficult for me to try and I am still learning it. The last Snow Show that I attended; I bought myself a Snowboard gear (if you want to know about the last Snow Show in Toronto, click here) because I find that you get to spend a way more money renting the gear if you go frequently to the mountains. Hello guys! Every week, I will be trying to bring to you different kinds of activities that not only you can practice here in Toronto, but also you can look for and try it in the city that you live. Last month, I was looking for a variety of exercises that I could do and share with you about my experience. I found a Capoeira Studio named Axé Capoeira located at St Clair Ave, here in Toronto.

Ballet – National Ballet of Canada

For those who knows me, they know how much I love Muay Thai, and for how long I have been doing it, but three years ago, I have started to research about Ballet because I really wanted to try for all of the benefits the classes provide for the body such as posture, softness and perfection in the movements. In my opinion, Ballet can be a sport that can help others like Muay Thai for the benefits I have listed above. It is so gentle and strong at the same time and for me, it could be a challenge because I do not have this “gentleness” well developed in my skills. The time passed by and I forgot all about it.
